Two Norwegian ski jumpers have been disqualified from an event at the 2025 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships after their suits were found to have been manipulated.

A cheating scandal that has rocked the world of ski jumping came to a head Wednesday with the suspension of a pair of Olympic gold medalists.Johanne Andre Forfang and Marius Lindvik—both of Norway—were suspended by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation Wednesday as the governing body investigates the extent to which individuals associated with the Norwegian team illegally manipulated suits to create extra lift.

Norwegian Olympic medal-winning ski jumpers Marius Lindvik and Johann Andre Forfang and three team officials are provisionally suspended for using manipulated suits to "cheat the system".

Olympic gold medal ski jumpers Marius Lindvik and Johann André Forfang have been suspended and put under formal suspicion during an investigation into claims they used manipulated ski suits.

The Norwegian ski federation has suspended a ski jumping coach and an equipment manager over their alleged role in a cheating scandal which shook the world championships this weekend. The federation said coach Magnus Brevik and equipment manager Adrian Livelten were suspected of modifying ski suits by sewing in an extra seam in an attempt to create more lift in the air.
