Dunham has moved to London and now returns with a new series, Too Much, set in the city. What could possibly be “too much” for the creator of Girls? The answer is more of the same – but with pubs and unconvincing cockney accents.

As of Friday, July 11, Too Much has not been renewed for a second season. It’s not unlike Netflix to take a few weeks or even a few months to give the go-ahead for more episodes so check back and there may be an update.

“Shout-out Taylor — thank you for that,” Dunham added. “She brings everyone together; she makes the world go ’round.” Dunham and the pop star have long been close friends. The former co-starred in Swift’s 2015 “Bad Blood” music video, and in 2021, Swift was a bridesmaid in Dunham’s wedding to musician Luis Felber.
