The Metro station at Aviation Boulevard and 96th Street will connect to the K Line and C Line. Starting next year, travelers will be able to use the automated people mover train to and from LAX and the center.

The LAX/Metro Transit Centre Station now provides a new rail and bus connection near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

In the words of L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, today marks the “beginning of a new era in our city.” And to celebrate the big opening, rides across the entire Metro system—rail lines, buses, Metro Bike Share and rideshare service Metro Micro—are free from Friday through Sunday.
