The Federal Trade Commission has extended a claims period for players of the popular online video game “Fortnite.” The FTC says eligible consumers can still file a claim until July 9, 2025, if they have not already filed a claim related to a settlement reached last year.

The FTC issued 629,344 payments to “Fortnite” players in December 2024, a first round of refunds that totaled more than $72 million. In this second round, the FTC says it will send 969,173 checks and PayPal payments between June 25 and June 26 to players who filed a valid claim.
