EasyJet is investigating an incident in which a pilot reportedly flew too close to a mountain, triggering a warning alarm.

An easyJet pilot has been stood down from duty after flying a plane packed with 190 passengers dangerously close to a mountain range, triggering a warning alarm. Captain Paul Elsworth was temporarily grounded while the budget airline investigates the incident which took place during a flight from Manchester to Egypt’s Red Sea resort of Hurghada.
