Moments after losing a no-hit bid in the seventh inning, San Diego Padres pitcher Dylan Cease left his start against the New York Yankees with an apparent injury.

The Padres ace hadn’t allowed a hit to the Yankees through the first 6 1/3 innings on Wednesday night before allowing a solo homer to Cody Bellinger, and though he recovered to strike out Anthony Volpe, he then exited early with a trainer. After the game, the team said he was dealing with a forearm cramp.
