With the news that the San Francisco 49ers have allowed Deebo Samuel to seek a trade, I removed him from the 49ers' 2025 projections. He joins Davante Adams, Chris Godwin, Tee Higgins, Cooper Kupp and several other wide receivers that I will not project until I have more confidence in where they'll play and who they will be catching passes from.

There are certain things the Broncos should not do this offseason. Trading for a veteran receiver is one of them.

Samuel was a second-round pick by the 49ers in the 2019 draft. In 81 games across six seasons he hauled in 334 receptions for 4,792 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also churned out 1,143 rushing yards and 20 rushing touchdowns on 202 carries.
