India's Reliance Consumer Products on Tuesday launched its home-grown cola brand, Campa Cola, in the United Arab Emirates, marking the brand's first foray into the global market dominated by U.S. beverage giants PepsiCo and Coca-Cola.

Reliance Consumer Products (RCP), the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) arm of Reliance Industries, has officially launched Campa in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at Gulfood, a food and beverage (F&B) sourcing event. In big move to strengthen its FMCG (Fast moving consumer goods) footprint, Reliance Consumer Products Limited ( RCPL ), the FMCG arm of the Reliance Group, has made its debut in the UAE by launching Campa at the 30th edition of Gulfood in collaboration with Agthia Group, according to the company's announcement in a release today.

The initial Campa product range in the UAE will include Campa Cola, Campa Lemon, Campa Orange, and Cola Zero, all of which will feature updated packaging and a competitive price point.

The Campa brand, a cult favorite in India during the 1970s and 1980s, will be launched in the UAE in partnership with Agthia Group, a leading food and beverage company in the region.
