WNBA, Caitlin Clark

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark entered the 2025 WNBA season as the betting favorite to win league MVP. The second-year guard was listed at +200, according to ESPN Bet, with Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson close behind at +225 and Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier at +300.
Breaking: Caitlin Clark will miss her first regular-season game since Nov. 28, 2017, her sophomore year of high school. Kristin Meyer, her coach at Dowling Catholic HS, told me for my book ON HER GAME that Clark had a badly sprained ankle and “it about killed her” not to play. https://t.co/3gSNLO68t7
Collier sits at -175 odds, the first odds to dip into minus territory, and Clark’s lengthened slightly to +250. The Las Vegas Aces’ A’ja Wilson (+700), Los Angeles Sparks’ Kelsey Plum (+5000) and Liberty’s Breanna Stewart (+6600) round out the top five.
Indeed, Clark was right behind Taurasi in technical fouls in 2024, racking up six as a rookie. Clark has not yet incurred a technical foul here in 2025, though she very famously was whistled for a flagrant foul in the Fever's season opener against Angel Reese and the Sky last week.
The Liberty remained unbeaten Saturday with a 90-88 win over the Fever, who were not happy with the officiating over the final 10 seconds of the game
