Texas ranch trader and big game hunter Asher Watkins, 52, was killed by a Cape buffalo in an 'unprovoked attack' while hunting the animal.

Asher Watkins, a real estate executive from Texas, was tracking a Cape buffalo in South Africa when he was attacked, a safari company said.

Asher Watkins died after he was attacked by a buffalo while on a hunting safari in South Africa, Coenraad Vermaak Safaris said in a statement.
